More Streaming Video! Facebook Launches Live for Verified Celebrities

Yesterday Facebook launched their own live streaming video service, “Live,” as part of their Mentions app which is only available to verified celebrity accounts. The service places Facebook in competition with Twitter’s Periscope and Meerkat which both launched earlier this year. We are excited for the possibilities of utilizing this feature with verified influencers in our campaigns. It takes the typical Facebook chat, live event coverage, and interaction with fans to the next level.

Keep your eye out for Live broadcast notifications in your Newsfeed or recordings of previous broadcasts. We will announce when we have our first broadcast integrated in an influencer campaign!
