The Buzz About Millennial Moms
Wow- have you heard all of the buzz about Millennial Moms? It has been buzzing for awhile, but we are hitting a fever pitch as they move into an even more desirable age demographic and brands want to know how to connect with them. They are clearly a powerful group and there are key differences between Millennials and Gen Xers.
As a member of Gen X and with a sister sitting strongly in the Millennial generation, the differences couldn’t be more clear. She and I don’t just vary in our opinions and tastes because of our personalities, but also because of different generational influences. I can remember the day my dad set up our first computer and logged me onto Prodigy. My sister doesn’t remember a day when there wasn’t a computer in our home. She is a “digital native” and doesn’t have to adapt to technology like I did (I typed my college applications on a rented typewriter!).
We have put together some key points when considering Millennials, but we want to understand Millennial Moms even more and apply that knowledge to our campaigns. We are currently conducting a simple survey for moms age 18- 34 years and we encourage you to participate.
