**Graphic design, or web design, knowledge is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with monitoring and listening across all social accounts.
  • Support for various marketing campaigns, and projects.
  • Conduct research on latest marketing and social media trends.
  • Contribute to the overall strategy on platform specific projects and initiatives
  • Assisting with the production of content for web and social media, including images, gifs, videos, copy writing, etc.
  • Aid in the compilation of monthly social reports for clients.

Social Media Strategist (Falls Church, VA)

Manage Social Media marketing campaigns and day-to-day activities for clients including:

  • Create relevant content to reach the client’s ideal customers.
  • Create and manage all published content (images, video and written) on all social assigned platforms: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Google+, LinkedIn, Snapchat, and Pinterest.
  • Monitor, listen and respond to users while cultivating leads and sales.
  • Oversee design (ie: Facebook Timeline cover, profile pic, thumbnails..).
  • Design, create and manage special promotions and social ad campaigns.
  • Compile report for management showing results (ROI).
  • Compile reports for clients showing results (ROI).
  • Respond to emails/messages/etc in a timely manner
  • Become an advocate for MtoM in Social Media spaces, engaging in dialogues and answering questions where appropriate.
  • Monitor trends in Social Media tools, applications, channels, design and strategy
  • Create blog content and ideas.
  • Oversee intern duties and provide them with useful information.
  • Provide weekly updates, changes, news, etc to management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, PR, or similar.
  • Minimum one year experience working as social media strategist, manager or intern
  • Deep understanding of the social landscape, proven competency across multiple platforms and experience managing social media pages with proven success.
  • Passion and enthusiasm for digital marketing.
  • Measurable examples of success in social media against business goals.
  • Fluency in social data, analytics and metrics.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize work, work well under pressure, and meet deadlines.
  • Superb written and oral communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to create high quality work within short timeframes.

Pluses:

  • Proficient in Adobe Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) After Effects
  • Measurable examples of success in social media against business goals.
  • Superb written and oral communication skills

Entry level position available with internship experience or 1-2 years business experience
